Hire Your First AI Colleague | Lua AI Build Night
In three hours, you'll connect the tools you use for real work, start with a prebuilt template and build an AI teammate that takes one repetitive workflow off your plate. You'll leave with it running and a path to grow it into a full agent team. Bring a non-sensitive version of the workflow or data you want to test. No customer data or production logins are needed. Founders, PMs, GTM teams and operators with a workflow they're tired of doing by hand. No code is needed.

AI Observability & Monitoring | Bronto
When an AI application slows down or fails, the real cause can be buried across model calls, agent steps, tools, infrastructure and the database. This Dublin AI Week build session is about making those systems observable. We will instrument an AI application, connect useful signals and work through practical ways to find failures before they become production incidents. Expect two focused talks, a guided build session, food and time to meet other engineers and founders working on production AI systems.

Break the Agent: An Agent Security CTF
Your job is simple: break the agent before someone else does. AI agents can browse the web, call APIs, access files and take actions on a user's behalf. Every new capability creates another way things can go wrong. Break the Agent is a hands-on capture-the-flag challenge focused on agent security. You'll test deliberately vulnerable agents, uncover weaknesses, and work through challenges based on failure modes such as prompt injection, data leakage, excessive permissions, and unsafe tool use.

Self-Improving Systems with PostHog
How do you build software that observes what users do, learns from the evidence and improves itself? PostHog and Give(a)Go are bringing Dublin's developers and technical founders together for an evening on self-improving systems. Andy Maguire from PostHog will share how the team is approaching products such as Scout and session replays that can open pull requests, followed by a practical session for people building adaptive products, agents, robotics systems and continuous evaluation loops.

Daytona HackSprint w/ Abundant & Geometric, Dublin - October 7, 2026
Agents only improve when you can measure what they do and trust where they run. This is a technical evening for people building serious AI systems. We will look at two parts of the stack that turn a promising agent into something reliable: evals that show what is working, and sandboxes that give agents safe, isolated environments in which to act. A YC founder from Abundant will share lessons from building environments and datasets for reinforcement learning, followed by talks and discussion on designing useful evals, comparing agent variants and running experiments safely.
